National Missions Day 2024

The focus for the offering on the CRC National Missions Day in 2024 is for Bethel Christian Centre in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. Bethel Christian Centre was established in the early 1970s by Pr Barry Silverback. It has since grown into a large and strong Apostolic base.
Today we face the challenge of updating facilities that are in need of maintenance and expansion. One of the most important facilities in need of upgrades is our bathroom and laundry block. This block is used by approximately 70 people on a daily basis. The current facility is not sufficient for this number of people.
There is also a pressing need to develop an accessible bathroom for Gabi Wari. Gabi suffered a stroke some years ago which has significantly restricted her physically. The current missions office will be converted into an accessible bathroom and the finance office will be extended to accommodate our missions team.
On Sunday 28 July there will be an opportunity to invest in all of this work through an offering received in each local church.
